#12 Conclusion

From the first post until the eleventh post, we can include the Disney film are wise, funny and visually stunning that is perfect for the family. Or maybe.... they are sappy and sentimental and brainwashing kids with all American values? Everyone has their own opinion regarding of the all movies that released by the Walt Disney Company, beginning with 'Snow White' in 1937 and hitting new heights with last year's box office bonanza 'Frozen'. What cannot be denied is how loved these films are in every corner of the globe. But which Disney movies deserve a place on your DVD shelf and which are best forgotten?  

There's lot of new things we can learn from Disney movies like Cinderella taught us that a dream that we wish will come true. Snow White taught us that hard work is easier to finish with a smile and songs. The Little Mermaid taught us to get out of our comfort zones and learn new things. Beauty and The Beast that we need to look past appearances in order to truly love someone and Frozen taught us that love can thaw a frozen heart. 

Starting from Snow White, we can see that princess was imagines as a weak person. They need prince to help, protect and escape them from any obstacles. This shown to children that every girl needs a man who can protect her. But, this common view been changed on Brave. Merida is imagined as a very tough girl that can face her problems by her own self. Frozen had also changed the common view from the kids where Elsa and Anna work together to find the solutions for Elsa's problems. They don't even need a prince to settle it.  

Other than that, in Disney movies show the stupidest person in the house are the parents while the smartest are the children. In the movies every main character is either an orphan or their parents die in movie. So, their message is clear. Kids are best when the parents are dead or gone and the logical conclusion is not to listen to your parents. Also the movies show that something completely unbelievable with every child owning a phone, computer, TV and of course the latest mall clothes while you will NEVER see anyone with pimples, in a wheelchair, or ugly unless they are the nerd who is recognized by wearing sunglasses and ugly clothes. 

All in all, like what had repeated in every post, every good has it's own bad, every pros has cons, every nice has bad. All of these are getting different perspective from each different person. It's depends on person on how they see it and on how they control it. The most important is, children need parents guidance when watching all Disney Movies and the most important is parents need to pay attention on what their children watch and correcting any bad perspective from their child. If you already usually hear 'every good has it's own bad', now you can remember new thing, 'every problems have it's own solutions'.

#9 Frozen

Frozen is another fine addition to the Disney animated feature pantheon, offering a witty and heartfelt princess fairly tale with creative musical elements and some visual panache. -Sandy Schaefer-

Can't hold it back anymore

I bet u must know this song which is Let It Go from Frozen. 

Frozen has been a phenomena through the world in 2014 especially among the kids. This movie Frozen has touched many hearts and also shared life lessons that I personally believed are reflected on the movie and can adapt in daily life. It's a story about Anna, a fearless optimist, sets off an epic journey to find her sister Elsa, whose have icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. From the outside, Elsa looks poised, regal and reserved, but in reality, she lives in a fear as she wrestles with a mighty secret-she was born with the power to create ice and snow. It's a beautiful ability, but also extremely dangerous. Haunted by the moment her magic nearly killed her younger sister Anna. Elsa has isolated herself, spending every waking minute trying to suppress her growing powers. Her mounting emotions trigger the magic, accidentally setting off an eternal winter that she can't stop. She fears she's becoming a monster and that no one, not even her sister can help her.

Frozen teaches us to look after each other especially when you know that you are the only ones who can. This can be shown when Anna may not know in the beginning that the reason why Elsa was cut off from everyone else was because her big sister accidentally put her life in danger, but this didn't stop her from reaching out to Elsa and from setting off to find her after she left the palace and put Arendelle on a state of eternal winter.

Anna and Hans

The song Anna and Hans was definitely catchy and cheesy but the thing is not everyone finds true love on the first take. You may find someone who fits your standards perfectly but they may still not be the one for you, especially if they just want to be with you beacuse of reasons that aren't love. If you have found the right person for you then hold on to him/her for dear life, but if you have to meet him/her yet, exercise precaution. Ask yourself why you want to be in relationship and if you are ready to take on the responsibilities that come along with the intimacy you are looking for. Don't sign up for a relationship just for the sake of being in one or to fill some void caused by other things and therefore require a specific solution. Therefore, Frozen teaches us don't believe in love at first sight.

All of the movies have their own bad and so do Frozen. Even this movie has been in kid's heart but there some criticism about this movie. Some discover that there are some hidden messages in Frozen. So, let me show you. 

First off, notice that Disney killed the parents right away. This is typical in trauma based mind control and you see it in practically every Disney movie. I can see that the destruction of the typical nuclear family is one of the Disney agendas, as they have done it many times in the past with one or both parents getting wacked right from the jump. 

  

The next thing I had like to introduce to you is the very overt and obvious casting of magic spells in the film. Of course, this makes it a children's film and I can't blame them because you are not going to get children to sit still and watch a documentary by any means, but still; it's a magic. 'The Triangle' is a magic spell. You will notice the triangle shape all throughout the film. The triangle is also used in magic to bring spirits from the dead or the other side, as we can later see with Olaf who gets brought to life through magic. 

  

 

Everything in this world need to be careful even a kid movies because we never know all the subliminal messages that been hidden behind the characters.

#5 The Lion King

The Lion King tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is to succeed his father, Mufasa, as king. However, after Simba's uncle Scar murders Mufasa, Simba is manipulated into thinking he was responsible and flees into exile in shame and despair. Upon maturation living with two wastrels, Simba is given some valuable perspective from his childhood friend, Nala and his shaman, Rafiki before returning to challenge Scar to end his tyranny. 

This movie is worth watching and I felt worth to share the moral values that learned from this movie -- When Simba comes to a new jungle, he enjoys the aimless life, forgetting his own true self, his glorious past, and the responsibilities to him. His internal strength and courage are lost in oblivion. He doesn't even want to know the truth and lets the circumstances take his greatness away from him. So the lesson learnt is 'you are the exactly the person who you think you are'.

Despite from that, the Swahili phrase that learnt from this movie is Hakuna Matata means 'there are no worries', is one of the most important life lessons that one must endure during their lifetime and so do I! Past really hurts but it is in our hand to run away from it or learn from it. If you run, the past will keep haunting you. We need to face the situations with courage! Simba runs away from his past but at the end, faces it and correct.

As hard as it may be to believe, The Lion King has been around for a full of two decades. That's right, in June of 1994, the animated Disney movie was released for the first time theaters, making it one of the 20 classic films that turn 20 this year. Pretty unbelievable, right? Despite its nearly ancient history, well you know since we are still small and till now, fans are still debating about this everyday -- the not-so-hidden sexual innuendos.

From this video, I had to say; Yes, animals can be a dirty too. Protest was against one scene where it appears as if the word 'S-E-X' might have been embedded into the dust flying in the sky when Simba flops down, which conservative activist Donald Wildmon asserted was a subliminal messages intended to promote sexual promiscuity. The film's animators have stated that the letters spell 'S-F-X' which is a common abbreviation of 'special effect' -- not with an E instead of the F, and were intended as an innocent "signature" created by the effects animation team. After a few of observation,I could find more subliminal messages in The Lion King and I ended this post with the video of all the subliminal messages in The Lion King.

#1 Introduction

Are you one of the children that has grown up with all of the Disney Movies?

Is it hard just to pick one of your favourites?
Snow White?
Cinderella?
Or probably Elsa from Frozen?

Do you randomly find yourself singing a Disney song in your head?
Yes right?

Walt Disney has made a huge impact on the lives of children in multiple generations and is still making an impact on adults as well. Countless movies have been produced to serve different life lessons and morals for the audience to take away with them. Since Disney movies have such a huge impact on children for all ages, why is there a crowd that is so against them and think that they convey the wrong messages to the children?

Do we realise there's something hidden behind all of the Disney Movies?

I am not here to condemn all of the Disney Movies but this topic really interested me since I was and still am a Disney fan. The movies definitely have made a huge impact on my life, but not in a bad way. But, thinking of other situations for other children, is it the impact is in a good or bad way?   

Yes! I always wanted to become a Disney Princess and pretend that a prince was going to come and rescue me, but I knew that there is a different between the movies and real life. 

Disney's princesses

Multiple people believe that Walt Disney is racist . They believe that only white people are represented by Disney and that the woman in the movies are seen as the typical "damsel in distress". Yes, this is the case for many of the early Disney princesses, such as Aurora, Snow White and Belle. Few think that this messes with girls' mind saying if they don't look like the stereotypical princesses, they aren't beautiful. But do these pessimists forget about the Disney movies that don't involve a princess that is white. Mula, Pocahontas and Jasmine from Aladdin are some of the movies that involve people of different ethnic backgrounds. Everyone is represented, so there isn't a need to feel that Disney gravitates to only one ethnic background.

How about the perspective of Disney Movies is sexist? 

Some consider Disney movies sexist because the princess is usually in some type of trouble is considered weak and needs a man to save her in the end. The most clear example is Sleeping Beauty. She pricks her finger on the spinning and is put to sleep. The only way that she can be saved is to be kissed by a prince. I think that this shows little girls that they are incapable of accomplishing anything on their own. Another example is Belle from Beauty and the Beast. The negative thinking audience believes that Belle is in an abusive relationship with the Beast and there is nothing she can do about it. Once Belle is set free to take care of her father, she returns very quickly, which is what most victims of abuse do. I also think that there is sexism in the Little Mermaid. I can see the sexism in Ariel. Ariel changes her physical appearance just to be with them she loves. By sacrificing her voice and signing Ursula's contract, she is representing women's sacrifice of their voice and opinions for the happiness of the man in their lives. 

I personally feel that Disney movies are good for children to watch because it is a break from reality for them to get lost in a different world where anything is possible. Children can be whatever they want and don't let anyone or anything get in their way. But, everything that created have their own bad and good. Good in Disney movies have been watched and discover by us but bad in Disney movies is not viral and we have to start beware of what we watch and what we hear. This post is the beginning of this topic and let other post continue this topic and until we can simplify the bad and good in Disney movies.
